The graph above measures the total endorsement count. However, not all endorsements are of equal weight: being backed by a senior Cabinet minister carries more weight than a backbencher elected in 2021, at least in my opinion. I have therefore assigned ‘points’ to each role (Cabinet, Minister, UK frontbench, backbencher) and produced the following infographic:
